a little bit of everything I do and like.

Hello! I'm Allium, I'm a digital/traditional artist from Brazil and I do a lot of stuff, but mostly drawing and writing, with a big focus on fanart at the moment, though I have quite a few ocs. There's a bunch of other skills I'm interested in tackling, here are some of them:

• Pixel art
• Web design
• Game design
• Some animation/animatic making
• Air dry clay sculpting
• Embroidery (haven't gotten started on it)

Currently I'm in college, doing visual design, which is another big interest of mine. It's been eating away some of my time, so sometimes things might be a bit sparse, but I'm still going to be updating here as I can!

Outside of making things, I mostly enjoy playing/watching other people play games, which is also where most of my fanarts come from. What I'm currently into changes from time to time, but here are some reoccuring and recent ones:

As for why I decided to make the site, it's partially because of this whole thing of social media becoming kinda unhospitable and unstable. Though I'm not leaving those, but I want a place where I can have my stuff without having to depend on them.
But also, on my first round going through college, I really liked the programming class I took, it was just basic HTML/CSS, but I really liked how less daunting it made programming look like. So I wanted to return to it! And what better way to play around than to make my own little site?

Some other tidbits about me. I have tendinopathy on both arms, which slows down a lot of what I work on. I'm currently 22, nearly 23. I'm pretty interested in floriography, the language of flowers. I have two other sonas, actually! Here they are:

Art programs
I use mostly Fire Alpaca for my digital art,but I use Aseprite for pixel art.
At the moment I'm also testing Affinity, mostly for graphic design though.

My drawing tablet
I use the One by Wacom, in the size small. Pretty handy little guy.

Writing tools
Ellipsus is my go-to writing tool. It's nice and easy to use and it really helped boost my writing productivity! But I also use Obsidian, which I also reccomend :]

Code editor program
I use VS Code, though be aware that they've put AI into it, but you can turn it off kinda easily, here's how you can remove it. It's free, too!
You can actually code directly on neocities, but I decided to do it this way because I want to use this knowledge for other things, so getting used to a text editor is good. Also, if something ever happens to my site or neocities itself, I still have pretty much all of it saved outside of neocities.

And for tutorials, I am using HTML Dog's tutorials. As of writing this, I'm in the middle of the HTML Advanced tutorials. Eventually I will go through The Odin Project's curriculum, but that's in the future.

Layout
I'm using the Itinerae's "i am sleepy" template, with a few changes. On the homepage at least. For the other pages, I'm still using a lot of the same code from the layout, but changing quite a bit.

Icons and visuals
The header and site icon were made by me, I'm storing the images on File Garden for now.

Fonts
I'm using Pangolin for the titles, Georgia for the site's subtitle/slogan and navigation buttons, and Literata for body text.

Some of the homepage's userboxes/blinkies have links to where I got them, but not all. So here's the credits for all of them.
